BOOKS PRODUCED

Tactical training is part of the routine of coaches and athletes in football. However, there is a gap in Brazil when it comes to teaching materials to systematize this process. In view of this, the book Tactical training in football: theory and practice aims to present the reader with three stages inherent to planning the training of tactical skills in football. Initially, the main contents that permeate the player's tactical action are described, such as the general, operational, fundamental and specific tactical principles, in addition to proposing an integrative concept of tactics in the game of football. In the second stage, an application of sports training aimed at developing the tactical capacity of football players is presented. In this part, the emphasis is on the presentation of the Pendular Model of Tactical Training, a methodological proposal that aims, through adjustments in attention processes during training tasks, to increase the cognitive base for playing football. Furthermore, in the second part of the book, the longitudinal planning of tactical training in football is discussed, guided by methodological principles that guide the performance of coaches at different competitive levels. In the third stage of the book, practical applications for analyzing performance in football are proposed. In this part, the presentation of applied studies on knowledge and tactical behavior in football, developed in the laboratory and published in several national and international magazines, translated into accessible language for the reader, stands out. At the end of the third part, examples of activities for tactical training are presented based on the theoretical framework of this book.

Have you ever wondered how an athlete can make the right decisions and execute the best moves to lead his team to victory? How to create training exercises that enhance individual tactical and technical skills? What's the secret to running exceptional training sessions that promote an ideal learning environment for your athletes? And, finally, how to evaluate individual progress in developing tactical and technical skills?

These are some of the crucial questions that our new book sets out to answer. While sports literature often focuses on the tactical and collective aspects of football, there is a significant lack of resources dedicated to the individual development of athletes. And ultimately, it's these athletes who drive collective success on the field. The book is only available in the Kindle version.
