This course seeks to qualify professionals for the appropriate use of Social Network Analysis in the interpretation of individual and collective performance in football. The course is organized into three modules, which will allow the student to: understand what SNA is and what it is for; apply SNA in practice, through an example in a real football game and, from there, learn about different steps and tips for optimizing analysis time; learn about scientific applications of SNA that can help analysts come up with ideas for daily monitoring of the team and researchers to understand the state of the art and study perspectives in the area. At the end of the course, the student is expected to be able to critically analyze a game through SNA and generate individual and collective performance measures in a reliable manner.

In this course, introductory topics relating to performance analysis in the modality will be presented. A series of tasks and processes that are expected of a performance analyst in the modern football context will be presented. In this course, we will present a practical approach, in which several tactical principles inherent to the offensive and defensive phases of the football game will be presented. Through knowledge of these principles, for those of you who are interested in becoming or are already a performance analyst for a football team, you will be able to better understand your team's individual and collective performance, generating indicators that will help the coach and other members of the committee. technique to improve the training process.
The Universal Sports Initiation proposal is based on the game, an important pedagogical resource. Through the game, the objective is to conduct a Teaching-Learning-Training process that will allow the practitioner to acquire capabilities, skills and competencies in the sporting context. These are, in turn, subordinated to temporal (when to teach), substantive (what to teach) and methodological (how to teach) structures. Finally, we highlight the role of Tactical Intelligence and Creativity Games, a powerful pedagogical resource to promote interaction between cognitive and motor components (tactical learning and motor learning) within the model.
